If you haven’t worked with a freelance write before, you may have some questions. Even if you have, you may want to learn more about my process. That’s smart! While things may differ project to project and ebooks are a ‘bit’ more complex, here is a general overview. Read on to learn more about what to expect when working with me.

Step 0: Let’s Chat

By email, video chat, or email, we will discuss your needs and goals. You will learn about my services and pricing, and most importantly how I can help your business!

If it sounds like a good fit, we can move forward.

Step 1: Get Started

We discuss your exact needs, agree on processes, terms, and pricing, and sign a contract. If you are not ready for a contract, let’s start with a paid sample to see if we are a good fit.

We agree on the first topic and get started.

Step 2: Research, Outline, and Write

Writing is more than just writing.

I compile heavy research to make sure that your content is backed by science.

I create an outline.

…and yes, I write…while keeping in mind your goals, target audience, products & services, and brand voice…

Step 3: Edit

Writing is just the first step. Then comes the editing process - with my critical hat on.

Each piece of content goes through three rounds of editing before it lands in your email.

I keep a 24-hour cool-down period between writing and editing to keep a fresh eye and a critical perspective.

I also run everything through a third-party editing software to prevent any spelling, grammar, or structural errors.

Step 4: Review and Finalize

After writing and editing, I email it to you.

Unless we agreed otherwise, all of my work is written in Google Docs allowing easy collaboration and edits.

If you have some thoughts or needs some tweaking, speak out. I adjust your piece to make sure you and your audience will love it!

Step 5: Publish, Share, and Repeat

After revisions: hit publish and share write the world. Post it on your website and social media. Share it with your newsletter audience. Be excited! Smile!

Eat, sleep, write, edit, publish, repeat.
